Day 1 /  Tashkent Urgench-Khiva
Short tour of the city via the madrasas Koudeldash Abul Kasim bazaar and Tchorsu. Lunch will be in town before returning to the airport to fly to Urgench where a bus waiting to go to Khiva (30 km). Accommodation will be in the guest house for two nights in the Ichan Kala (inner city fortified XVII-XIX century).

Day 2/  Khiva

In the early morning tour of the city, magnificent remnant of the Khorezm oasis. Khiva Khanate was the capital of the seventeenth century, one of the largest market in Central Asia. Nowadays, the Ichan Kala is a real culture well where you can admire the former residence of the Khans (the Kouna-Ark), the mausoleum of Pahlavan Mahmoud (fifteenth century), the Friday Mosque and its prestigious minaret dating from the eleventh century and the madrasa Islom Khoja (nineteenth century). These treasures of the past give the city a character in a remarkably authentic and unique style of colorful clay ramparts rose.L afternoon will be leaving you free time to stroll along the sunny streets of Khorezm.


Day 3/  Khiva-Bukhara (480 km)
Starting at dawn to Bukhara city located in the heart of the desert in the valley of Zerafshan. The road follows the river Oxus (Amu Darya current) towards the east along the paths of Alexander the Great. The lunch will take short road in a typical restaurant. Arrival in the late afternoon as a guest house for two nights.

Day 4/  Bukhara the Holy
Landmark in the Silk Road, this jewel of the desert is an authentic oriental charm to the city. It still displays the famous jewelry and oriental carpets that made the legend. Bukhara is also the birthplace of several religions in Central Asia as Zoroastrianism and later Islam, one can also see a multitude of Koranic schools, madrasas, mosques and tombs of many saints.
Program, visit Chor Minor and its four minarets that once splendid guarding the entrance of a madrasa, all Poye-Kalon (XV-XVI century) and its impressive "tower of death" where the voice the muezzin could carry up to 8 km away. The tour continues with Kosh madrasa Ulugbek and Abdulaziz (XV-XVII century) and all Labi-Khousse (XVI-XVII century) brought us back to medieval times.

Day 5&6/  Bukhara-Samarkand (270 km)
Way to the beautiful city of Samarkand, true splendor of 1001 nights with infinite shades of blue. For two days, the discovery will not Tamerlan on over the monuments of his time as the Gur-Emir mausoleum where he is buried, the huge mosque of Bibi Khanum or necropolis Shakhi-Zinda. Samarkand was the principal city of ancient Sogdiana, it was seen as welfare for the pilgrims from the desert, with its green gardens, minarets and domes of deep blue and sparkling. We will certainly not course the famous Registan Square, magical and timeless with stunning mosaics depicting the evolution of Timurid architecture and its many influences. Both nights will be guest house.

Day 7/  Samarkand-Bekabod(270 km)-Artuch (400 km)
Transfer Bekobod. After noon we reach the village of Artutch where we meet our guides and their caravan of mules. Overnight camping.

Day 8/  Artutch-Kulikalon
We will join the circus Kulikalon (2800 meters) from where we can admire the turquoise lakes. Bivouac at the foot of the mountains Mirali and Mary (5000 meters), running time estimated at 6-7am.

Day 9/  Kulikalon-Alaudin
Ascenssion cervical Alaudin (3750 meters) then back down to the lake of the same name and install the bivouac for the night. Running time estimated at 7am.

Day 10/  Alaudin-Mutny-Alaudin
Alaudin walk around the lake towards the glacier lake Moutny (3500 meters) at the foot of the peaks sparkling Chimtarga (5489 meters), peak Mirali Energy.
In the evening return to the camp after 7-8h walk.

Day 11/  Alaudin-Kulikalon
We descend into the valley to ascend to Tchapdara Laudan Pass (3600 meters). The night will bivouac at the edge of one of the twelve lakes Kulikalon.

Day 12/  Kulikalon-Artutch
Climb to the peak to Tchukrak before descending to the lake of the same name, then to the village of Artutch where we set camp.

Day 13/  Artutch-Dushanbe.
Transfer to Dushanbe Overnight homestay.

Day 14/  Dushanbe - Paris.
Early morning transfer to airport and flight out.
