If you like mountain, this expedition in Central Asia is for you! A trek to conquer the sports unexplored mountains of Tajikistan is offered thirteen days to meet nomads and small villages at the foot of the highest peaks in the country. For the fans, thrills guaranteed!

Itinerary

Day 1/  Tashkent - Bekobod-Qiokli
We will then drive to Tajikistan and continue towards the region of seven lakes. Arrived at the lake we meet our sixth team Tajik and begin a hike of 3-4h (2600m altitude) to the village of Quiokli. Overnight homestay.

Day 2/  Quiokli - Obi Safed (6-7 hours of walking. 3300m)
We will pass the Tovasang before descending to the valley where we will meet Sarymat herder families who settled for the summer. Bivouac.

Day 3/  Obi Safed - Valangui Chakhob (6-7 hours walking)
The hike up to the pass we enmenera Manoura (3520m) and then descend into the valléee of Archai via Lake Pitchkul Maiden (2200m). Bivouac

Day 4/  Valangui Chakhob - Archa Maidan - Valangui Chakhob (6 to 7 hours walking)
The day will be devoted to the discovery of the valley Archa Maidan, we balladerons peaks to Moscow Sakharnaya golova, Doukdon Valangui Shakhob and back to the end of the day to rest.

Day 5/  Valangui Chakhob - Gazza (6 to 7 hours walking - 1800m)
Start walking at dawn, we will in many valleys as Gayrobsang, Saragtchi or Duobayi Sarmat villages where we discover many cultures. Overnight homestay in the village of Gazza.

Day 6/  Gazza-Chukrak (7 to 8 hours walking)
Ascenssion cervical Gouytane (2600m) then descend to Lake Tchoukrak or we will find an encampment of shepherds with their flocks we meet. We spend the night in a tent by the lake (2435 m).

Day 7/  Chukrak - Kulikalon (6-7 hours walking)
Passage through the cervix Tchoukrak (3180 m), we will walk through a dozen beautiful lakes amidst the turquoise waters of the circus Kulikalon (2800m). Bivouac at the foot of the mountains Mirali and Mary (5000m), giving us the spectacle of their eternal snows. Night in the tent by the lake Jannat Bibi.

Day 8/  Rest day in Kulikalon
The day will be devoted to the discovery of lakes Doushokha, Jannat Bibi Govkush and to enjoy the serenity and rest a little.

Day 9/  Kulikalon - Alaudin (6-7 hours walking)
Climb to the Aloudine (3860m), where we admire the multitude of colors offered by the lake of the same name some 1000 feet below. Camping at Lake Aloudine under the cedars

Day 10/  Alaudin - Mutnye - Duhoba (6-7 hours walking)
Always in a mineral world, we climb to the glacial lake Moutny (3500m) at the foot of the peaks sparkling Chimtarga (5489m, the highest point of the massif), peak and peak Mirali Energy. By late afternoon, return to our camp raided the camp Duhoba

Day 11/  Transfer to Xujand
In the morning transfer to Xujand. Overnight in homestay.

Day 12/  Xujand-Bekobod - Samarkand (335km)
In the morning, we will start Uzbek border.The afternoon free time in the city the opportunity to wander around a bit after a few days of trek.

Day 13/  Samarkand
Principal city in the former State of Sogdiana, Samarkand is a historical and cultural site.
Capital of Tamerlane in the fourteenth century, the city has always had coveted by travelers and "thirsty desert" which saw it as a paradise on earth.
Indeed, multiple gardens and blue domes make it light from the east among the cities of the Silk Road. The visit will focus around the Timurid monuments that made the heyday of Samarkand. We will visit the mausoleum and the Gur-Emir or rests the body of Tamerlane, the great mosque of Bibi-Khanum (built by the wife of the emperor), the surprising Zinda necropolis Shakhi without forgetting the fabulous Registan Square, contrasted with its three madrasas colorful mosaics.

Day 14/  Tashkent
Transfer to Tashkent.
